Jardin du Luxembourg
The Jardin du Luxembourg is the largest public park located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. The park is the garden of the French Senate, which is itself housed in the Luxembourg Palace. It was created at the initiative of Queen Marie de Medicis, nostalgic for his native Florence, and inspired by the Boboli Gardens.
It’s a French Garden, where you will find many flowers, an orchard, a large octagonal pool where children love to float small boats, the refreshing Medicis fountain, and many outdoor sculptures.
